The Alliance for Living and Dying Well offers this free community workshop to help facilitate important conversations about end-of-life wishes. Trained facilitators lead the workshop and support community members in completing their Advance Health Care Directive. We supply the document and everything you need to complete the process.

Pontoon cruises, led by a Cachuma Lake Park Naturalist, highlighting “Eagle Season”. The fall and winter seasons bring a variety of migratory birds into the Cachuma Lake area. It is a great time to of year to see beautiful species of waterfowl and perhaps a resident or visiting bald eagle as well! Cruises also focus on flora, geology and cultural history. Don’t forget to bring your binoculars, camera, and a warm jacket. *Fees: Adults $15, kids $10 (5-12 years old ñ sorry, no kids under 5). Meet at the marina 1/2 hour before departure.
Meet at the Nature Center to join a Cachuma Lake Park Naturalist or Interpretive Volunteer for an easy-paced 1/2-mile walk, exploring the Oak Canyon Trail. Bring water, hats, and a sense of adventure. No pets please. Limit 20 participants; first come, first served. Private walks can be arranged by calling (805) 688-4515.
