Join Devine Beauty Emporium in welcoming Jane Mosbacher Morris, the Founder of TO THE MARKET | Survivor Made Goods, for a Pop Up Shop featuring their survivor-made goods from around the world.   Jane has spoken at venues ranging from policy conferences, like The ONE Campaign’s AYA Summit on Girls and Women, to social enterprise and creative business conferences, like the Alt Summit.  She is joining us on Feb. 29th to speak about how social enterprise is changing and improving the lives of survivors around the globe, and how each of us can participate and make a difference. The event will be held from 6 – 8 pm at Devine Beauty Emporium, inside The Hidden Jewel Boutique.  Remarks by Jane will be at 7 pm, but come early for Sprinkles Cupcakes, Champagne, and Lemonade. TO THE MARKET | Survivor-made Goods (TTM) combines the powers of commerce and storytelling to empower the world’s most courageous survivor populations, in the belief that resilience is more powerful than suffering.  Jane Mosbacher Morris is the Founder & CEO of TO THE MARKET (tothemarket.com), a socially-inspired business promoting goods made by & stories told by survivors of conflict, abuse, & disease. Since its launch, TO THE MARKET has been featured widely in the press on platforms ranging from People StyleWatch to Fox & Friends. Jane previously worked on counterterrorism at the US Department of State & on fighting human trafficking for Mrs. Cindy McCain. She has a MBA from Columbia Business School.
