With his winning set at the Red Bull Thre3style World Championships in 2012, the Seattle record slinger showed the entire globe what it means to be the best behind the decks, but real heads have known for years that every single FCZ set is a master class on body moving. It’s why Fool’s Gold presses his party edits to wax, MTV names his mixes amongst the years’ best, and LA’s Power 106 enlists him to mash it up for their drive-time “jump off” slot… so don’t miss out when Four Color Zack comes through to paint your town red. The C3 event is a pillar of unity and strength in the city of Costa Mesa. Starting as a partnership with the Costa Mesa Police Department 12 years ago, C3 has grown from a neighborhood-based basketball tournament to a city-wide event that now includes a community fair. C3 stands for Cops, Church, and Community, with each entity represented in the 3-on-3 tournament. This day connects civic, businesses, churches, and service agencies for a day filled with activities and resources for the whole family. We hope you can join!
Costa Mesa Playhouse continues its 51st season with Neil Simon’s comedy, Rumors, running April 8 through May 1, 2016.
In 1988 Neil Simon was going through difficult times and needed to cheer himself up, so he wrote his first farce, Rumors. It is the Deputy Mayor of New York, Charley Brock, and his wife Myra’s 10th wedding anniversary party, but when the first guests arrive, they find Myra missing and an unconscious Charley, “accidentally” shot in the ear. Hoping to avoid a scandal, they try to cover up what they assume to have happened, but when the rest of the guests arrive, rumors abound, confusions and mis-communications mount, and the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity.
Rumors is directed by Kyle Myers and stars Justin Murphy, Christine Cummings, Michael Canas, Emily MacAgy, Robert Moniz, Janet McGregor, Mark Tillman, Victoria Serra, Randy Brownfield and Alexandra Moniz.
Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 2 p.m.
