Student Success Initiative  Guided Pathways Summit 3 Developing Common Core Design Principles around Counseling, Advising, and Career Exploration   The Office of Student Success, in collaboration with 3CSN’s LA Regional Network and LACCD District Academic Senate, is hosting professional learning summits centered on our collaborative work around Guided Pathways, integration of student success initiatives, and the CCCCO’s Vision for Success. This is an opportunity to build relationships and knowledge with regional colleagues through active engagement and team time. This is the first of four summits for the 2019-2020 academic year.   The summits will focus on the following inquiry areas: Developing and aligning to common core design principles around onboarding Building facilitation capacity to enhance professional learning for Guided Pathways implementation Developing and aligning to common core design principles around Counseling, Advising, and Career Exploration Measuring success in Guided Pathways implementation Leveraging technology will be a theme throughout the four summits.    For additional dates and information, review the flyer.    We encourage you to bring a cross-functional team including faculty from instruction and student services, classified staff, students, and administrators. We recommend you include individuals who are working on your AB 705, Guided Pathways, and College Promise Implementation, as well as those leading the professional learning efforts at your college. Please include students as active participants of your team. Their perspectives and participation are vital to the implementation of Guided Pathways.
