Internationally renowned designer, Emmet Smith, meets one-on-one with clients, creating couture hand-crafted signet rings, which express individuality and appreciation of tradition.

Rich in tradition, and matchless in luxury, Rebus is the preeminent atelier for one-of-a-kind signet rings and hand-engraved jewelry design. Headquartered in Hatton Garden, where drafting and craftsmanship are pillars of quality construction, every piece is forged by master goldsmiths.

Known for solid, timeless signet rings carved in reverse, each can be used as a wax seal—an elegant touch to a handwritten letter. Whether a self-purchase gift to celebrate a landmark occasion, the anticipated surprise for a loved one, or one’s signature touch on dapper style—the signet is as distinct as its wearer. Equivalently, the rendezvous to compose one is a marked journey—a dance between past and future self, where Rebus manifests the client’s style and vision. Formed in precious metal, substance and interpretation emerges… a tour de force of design, each ring wholly unique.

Emmet Smith says, “It is a great pleasure to meet customers in person to explore design ideas and work with them so we can create and achieve their style aspirations. We believe we share a refined design aesthetic with customers based in these urbane West Coast locations and I am very much
looking forward to collaborating and supporting customers old and new at these events.”

During West Coast appointments, clients will be able to peruse the full collection of Rebus ring styles in a private, elegant setting. With sophisticated heraldry and design books for reference, Emmet Smith, Rachel Constantine, and Nicole Maskrey will advise on custom design, partnering to actualize concepts ranging from family crests, coats of arms, meaningful symbolism, artful initials, and more. Clients will peruse shapes, gemstone options, metal types, and sizes. Customers with an interest in heritage and craftsmanship will be introduced to the die-stamp and hand-engraving process, beginning the blueprint towards their modern heirloom.
