La Cocina School at El Centro de la Raza will be offering a Mexican Mole in partnership with Janet Monroy!

Learn how to make delicious and authentic chicken mole from scratch! Mole is a traditional Mexican sauce and marinade, containing a scrumptious mixture of peppers, fruits, chocolate and more. Participants of the class will be working hands on with our instructor, learning and executing the recipe. Please note, while the mole itself is vegetarian, the class will be cooking and preparing it with chicken.

Class will begin promptly at 10:00 AM in the Centilia Cultural Center's kitchen. La Cocina Classes are typically 2.5 hours long. All cooking supplies and ingredients will be provided, but please bring your own apron. The Centilia Cultural Center is located within Plaza Roberto Maestas at 1660 South Roberto Maestas Festival Street, Seattle, WA 98144, next to the Light Rail station and south of El Centro de la Raza's main Historic Building.

Proceeds from the La Cocina School at El Centro de la Raza Latin Cooking Classes go to fund El Centro de la Raza's Senior Wellness programs. As such, we are unable to process any refunds. In the event that you are unable to attend, we are happy to place you into a different class or you are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else. Mil gracias for your support.
