When Holocaust Center staff member Paul Regelbrugge was a teacher in Spokane, WA, he invited Holocaust survivor Robert Holczer to speak to his 6th grade class. Paul and Robert became friends toward the end of Robert's life, and Paul was one of the few people Robert trusted to record his story. From these interviews came Paul's first book, “The Yellow Star House,” one of the first to recount the remarkable story of how 400 Jews were rescued in the middle of Budapest, Hungary. Bring your lunch. Coffee and cookies will be served. Books will be for sale at the event.
