It may be cold outside, but within the fiery heart of the PUNK ROCK FLEA MARKET, spring has sprung!

On one glorious spring Saturday, on the pastoral corner where Rainier Avenue S. meets MLK, you and your posse can find bargains, gifts, treats and treasures that both respect your profound nostalgia for pop culture AND reward what remains of your hope for a better future.

Seattle’s very favorite underground shopping experience returns to King’s Hall, at the foot of beautiful Beacon Hill, directly beneath the Mt. Baker Light Rail Station. A never-to-be-repeated gathering of 80+ vendors will be selling clothes, music, crafts, art, food, sneakers, skateboards, electronics, vegan soap, bondage gear, prosthetic limbs, bike parts, graffiti supplies, snake oil and droids. And that’s just for starters. Our famed bottom shelf bar is open for business at noon, with drink specials redolent of the promise of spring. Live DJ’s spin music from open to close. Local food trucks sell a democratic mix of goodies. But wait! There’s more!

The PRFM remains an ALL AGES event. Bring the kids, bring your parents, bring the whole damn crew. And we are PROUD to say that after 14 years, it still costs just ONE DOLLAR to enter the Punk Rock Flea Market. Is it worth one measly dollar to take a deep dive into the bowels of punk rock ephemera while supporting local independent business? We say YES.

As always, the PRFM supports our friends the Low Income Housing Institute, aka. LIHI, with a donation from our proceeds. LIHI is a non-profit organization that provides homes for homeless and low-income people all around the Puget Sound, and is currently leading the effort to build tiny self –contained houses for homeless people and families around our region. More info about them at www.lihi.org.

The Punk Rock Flea Market is supported in part by an award from 4Culture, and by the ongoing support of Revolve Development. Our delicious beer is made by Georgetown Brewing. For more info contact PRFleamarket@gmail.com. Or visit www.punkrockfleamarketseattle.com.
