Your Voice, Your Choice Workshop

Event Description: Do you have an idea for small scale park and street improvements in your neighborhood? Submit your idea at this pop-up event for Your Voice, Your Choice Parks and Streets!

Your Voice, Your Choice (YVYC) is an annual participatory budgeting program in which Seattle residents democratically decide how to spend a
portion of the City’s budget on small-scale park and street improvements. Community members submit project ideas and collectively prioritize those ideas. The top-priority ideas for each City Council district are then reviewed by Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) and Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) and voted on by community members. The
ideas that receive the highest number of votes are included for implementation in the following year’s City budget.
