This event in the main atrium of Crosstown Concourse will give student pharmacists the opportunity to start conversations with the public about diabetes risk and prevention as well as immunizations. Equipped with risk assessments, a trivia game with prizes, and the educational boards, students will talk to a passerby about risk factors and how they can be active in preventing development of diabetes with lifestyle choices, as well as prevent contraction of other diseases by staying up to date on immunizations. Students will provide basic education about diabetes as a disease state and common symptoms of poorly controlled disease. Students will also be able to de-bunk immunization myths and raise public awareness of immunization benefits P1+ Volunteer (Op. Diabetes 10am-12pm) – $0.00 P1+ Volunteer (Op.
