SORDID LIVES 20TH ANNIVERSARY SCREENING Saturday, May 16, 2020 – 2PM – CAMELOT THEATRES – PALM SPRINGS a benefit for The Del Shores Foundation with create Del Shores, Ann “LaVonda” Walker, Rosemary “Dr. Eve” Alexander and Newell “Wardell” Alexander & Emerson Collins 20 years ago, the world was introduced to LaVonda, Dr. Eve, Wardell, Latrelle, Sissy, Juanita, Ty, Noleta, G.W., Odell and Brother Boy! So, we’re doing a 20th anniversary at the Camelot Theatres in Palm Springs that truly launched cult status of the film! It only makes sense to celebrate in the city that had a parrot that could say “Shoot ‘er Wardell, shoot ‘er in the head!” This special screening will be hosted by Del Shores, Ann Walker, Rosemary Alexander and Newell Alexander with a Q&A following the screening. VIP BRUNCH – all VIP tickets will include an 11:30AM brunch at the Palm Springs home of Del Shores Foundation Board Co-Chair Stuart Bell with Del, Ann, Rosemary, Newell and Emerson **address will be emailed directly to VIP ticket holders TICKETS: VIP Brunch and screening – $100 – 11:30AM Brunch then screening General Admission screening – $20 – 2PM screening **all performers are appearing for free, all profits benefit the new Del Shores Foundation The Del Shores Foundations mission is to find and facilitate the development of new southern queer artistic voices through bringing together artists and working professionals, amplifying new work and connecting artists to platforms for the creation of the work.
