Spanish-Inspired Festival Brings Taylor Morrison’s First 55-plus Community, Sol y Mar, to Southern California @ Sol y Mar Villas | Rancho Palos Verdes | California | United States

The public is invited to indulge in a day of elegant, Spanish-inspired festivities, partaking in delicious paella, savoring artisan cheeses from around the world and being serenaded by the live music of a Spanish guitarist while touring the beautiful, new homes at Sol y Mar during its grand opening event, Saturday, Nov. 14, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The first of its kind by Taylor Morrison in Southern California, this luxury, 55-plus community offers a personal oasis among the Palos Verdes Hills with six, distinct new home designs that reflect California’s beloved Mediterranean, Monterey and Spanish architectural styles.

New homes at Sol y Mar impress with gourmet kitchens and open, flowing living and dining spaces with access to large outdoor decks, luxurious master bedrooms with en suite master bathrooms, spacious walk-in closets and private elevators in all two-story homes.

With homes ranging in size from approximately 1,550 to 2,332 square feet and pricing starting in the mid $900,000s, the hilltop homes at Sol y Mar offer the beauty and bounty of the Rancho Palos Verdes lifestyle with access to top-tier shopping and dining, lavish community events and wine tastings, cooking demonstrations and more.

Sol y Mar is located at 5601 Crestridge Road, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275.

Apr 16 @ 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

“Nature Connects is an award winning, record-breaking exhibition now touring North America. Created entirely with LEGO pieces, this show features larger-than-life sculptures built with LEGO bricks by New York artist, Sean Kenney.
Imagine a walk through a beautiful garden where you round a corner and come face-to-face with a bison! Not a real one, of course, but one entirely constructed from 45,143 LEGO® bricks. Families will be able to enjoy a toy-filled exploration this spring at the South Coast Botanic Garden, which will host an exciting family-friendly ecosystem of fun, flowers and fauna: Nature Connects. This interactive art installation entirely constructed from nearly half a million toy bricks will bring 15 nature-themed sculptures to the Garden, along with multiple hands on activities.
The South Coast Botanic Garden in Palos Verdes Peninsula will be the only Southern California stop for this nationally touring exhibit, which will be unveiled to the public on February 19 and be on display through May 8, 2016.”
