This sensational new show brings together three styles of exhilarating dance forms – Ottawa Valley step dance, Irish step dance, and tap. With virtuosic dancers and musicians from the likes of The Chieftains, Cherish the Ladies, and Bowfire, the cast of outstanding talent takes you on a dance journey as national champions show audiences the amazing similarities and differences between these three captivating styles. The Step Crew boasts three world-class fiddlers backed by an amazing five-piece ensemble comprised of some of the most respected musicians in the Celtic music scene today.
With a crash of cymbals and a blast of horns, Meredith Willson’s Tony Award-winning musical comedy, “The Music Man,” will march into your heart with its warm, family-friendly story, and such Broadway classics as the rousing “Seventy-six Trombones,” and the beautiful “’Til There Was You,” accompanied by a live orchestra. “The Music Man” follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill who brings trouble to River City, Iowa when he cons the townspeople into buying instruments and uniforms for an imaginary band – but his plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when his heart is stolen by the town librarian. An audience favorite for over 50 years, “The Music Man” is one of American musical theatre’s greatest treasures that should be shared with every generation. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m.
St. Luke’s is a wonderful place! Ours is a plain sanctuary which helps us focus on God’s presence among us. Surrounding St. Luke’s is a beautiful garden, a peaceful space for rest and quiet reflection. Each Sunday, our sanctuary’s windows afford us a fresh view of this small slice of God’s magnificent creation. But above all else, St. Luke’s is a place of community
