The Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Michael Hart, and the University String Symphony, under the direction of Yoshika Masuda, perform masterworks for their ensembles and then join forces to close the performance with works for full symphony orchestra. Come hear the majesty and grandeur of symphonic music.

CLUFest 2020 is an experience of everything that makes up California, from diverse landscapes to West Coast culture. Join us as we pay homage to the Golden State through interactive exhibits and a showcase of the Multimedia Department. The exhibition is designed and organized by the graduating multimedia students.
A reception will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on April 25.
Admission is free. The William Rolland Art Center is open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Thingamajig features student printmaking and ceramic processes, from beginning and advanced classes, in a wide exploration of content and composition. The exhibition includes monoprints, intaglio, drypoint, solar plate production, lino and woodcut relief prints and a variety of sculptural, hand-built and wheel-thrown ceramic techniques.
The exhibition originated with the advanced printmaking students from the class of 2014. Ceramics students were invited to join in 2015, and the art show has become an annual experience. Student curators for the 2020 show include Jessica van der Laan, Mona Saii and Thoranin Nualsumlee.
A reception will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. April 25.

Visitor parking is available at all hours in the lot on Mountclef Boulevard north of Olsen Road. Presented by Cal Lutheran’s ceramics program, this exhibition features photography, video, written narrative and ceramic vessels made by students and community members and used at an annual ceramics banquet held on campus. The project integrates the growing and harvesting of locally sourced food with the creation and use of handmade vessels.
