Chris Cohen, psychedelic-pop virtuoso, is picking up where he left off in 2012 with his solo debut, Overgrown Path. Earlier this month, the LA-born, California-based experimentalist shared the first single from his forthcoming sophomore album, As Is Apart, due May 6 through Captured Tracks. Now, hes offering a second taste, In a Fable. Best known as an ex-affiliate of Deerhoof, Cryptacize, and Ariel Pinks Haunted Graffiti, Cohen here presents a soothing take on pop while departing from customary 4/4 time signatures.
