Join us for a Sea Starry Night to celebrate our new name, Roundhouse Aquarium Teaching Center, and to support the Aquarium’s efforts to educate and inspire the community and our children about the ocean, the environment and the creatures living in it. Music, Mingling, and Making a Difference Reception and Fundraiser Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 7PM to 10PM Manhattan Country Club: 1130 Parkview Avenue, Manhattan Beach 90266 Admission: $125 per ticket, or $200 for 2 tickets (a $50 savings) Each ticket includes 2 drink vouchers, hors d’oeuvres, and access to the exclusive silent auction and raffle (donated by local busineses, athletes, and entertainers).  Announcements about special guests, raffle items, and auction items coming soon! Proceeds of this event will go to general operations and to start an endowment fund for the Roundhouse Aquarium Teaching Center. This is a 21 and over event Are tickets refundable? No. Please remember this is a charitable event. If you are not able to attend the evet, your entire ticket cost is tax deductible. Join us for Baby Storytime!  The lapsit storytime is designed for babies up to 18 months, and their parent or caregiver. Come enjoy bonding time for baby and you through stories, songs, rhymes, fingerplays, bounce and movement activities, and lots of fun! In the best interest of the enjoyment of the baby, parents and caregivers at our storytimes and equal opportunity to attend, the series will have a limited attendance and families will be admitted on a first come, first served basis.  On Wednesday mornings tickets will be distributed outside the library beginning at 10 AM.Adult caregiver participation is required.For babies 0-18 months.

Join us for Toddler Storytime!  This storytime is geared to 18 month to 3 year olds and their parents/caregivers. Come enjoy stories, songs, fingerplays, movement, and more! In the best interest of the enjoyment of the children and families at our storytimes and equal opportunity to attend, the series will have a limited attendance and families will be admitted on a first come, first served basis.  On Tuesday mornings tickets will be distributed outside the library beginning at 10 AM.For more information please contact the children’s librarians.Ages 18 months to 3 years.

TIME4ART Presents: A Peek Into Chicano Art

Primarily known as an actor, director, and performer, Cheech Marin has
developed the finest private collection of Chicano art in the United States.

“Partnering with Homeira Goldstein and TIME4ART to further the recognition, awareness, emergence, and pride of Chicano art throughout the U.S. is important to our past and the future of our identity, culture, and lives,” said Cheech Marin.
Envisioned by Homeira Goldstein, Chariman of the Board for TIME4ART and hosted by the Manhattan Beach Art Center, A Peek into Chicano Art will feature the amazing works by artists Chaz Bojorquez, Einar and Jamex de la Torre, David Flury, Margaret Garcia, Gronk, Jacinto Guevara, Wayne Alaniz Healy, Adan Hernandez, Frank Romero, Alex Rubio, Vinvent Valdez, Andy Villarrea, George Yepes, and Jaime “Germs” Zacarios.

Welcome to Hennessey’s Supper Club!
Please join us as we celebrate the glory of the true Pub Experience! With Four Courses of Seasonal Dishes, hand prepared by Corporate Executive Chef Nael Taki, and hand crafted cocktails masterfully paired to enhance the flavor and experience of the night, this is sure to be one for the books!
