So many of us are going through the college application process or will be soon so what a great opportunity to hear J.D. Rothman, author of ‘The Neurotic Parent’s Guide to College Admissions” talk about what she has learned.
Admissions rates of 6%? Kids applying to 32 colleges? Sixteen-year-olds with more impressive resumes than Fortune 500 CEOs? Has the nation lost its mind? Why yes, it has. The college admissions process now sucks approximately 1250% more time, money and psychic energy than it did when today’s parents were going through the same process. Thank God author J.D. Rothman is here to shine a light on the insanity with laugh-out-loud wit and incisive anthropological observations.

Please join us for the book launch of The Stolen Moon written by LA area writer Rachel Searles. The Stolen Moon is geared towards kids ages 9-14 and is the action- packed sequel to The Lost Planet.
Chase has been reunited with his younger sister, Lilli. He doesn’t remember his past, but Lilli does—she remembers their parents, and life before their planet was destroyed. Chase and Lilli are different. Chase can “phase”—pass through objects, and Lilli can “transport”—send a copy of herself to other locations, even other planets.
RSVP’s are recommended.
