“Partnering with Homeira Goldstein and TIME4ART to further the recognition, awareness, emergence, and pride of Chicano art throughout the U.S. is important to our past and the future of our identity, culture, and lives,” said Cheech Marin.
Envisioned by Homeira Goldstein, Chariman of the Board for TIME4ART and hosted by the Manhattan Beach Art Center, A Peek into Chicano Art will feature the amazing works by artists Chaz Bojorquez, Einar and Jamex de la Torre, David Flury, Margaret Garcia, Gronk, Jacinto Guevara, Wayne Alaniz Healy, Adan Hernandez, Frank Romero, Alex Rubio, Vinvent Valdez, Andy Villarrea, George Yepes, and Jaime “Germs” Zacarios.

Join us for Baby Storytime! The lapsit storytime is designed for babies up to 18 months, and their parent or caregiver. Come enjoy bonding time for baby and you through stories, songs, rhymes, fingerplays, bounce and movement activities, and lots of fun! In the best interest of the enjoyment of the baby, parents and caregivers at our storytimes and equal opportunity to attend, the series will have a limited attendance and families will be admitted on a first come, first served basis. On Wednesday mornings tickets will be distributed outside the library beginning at 10 AM.Adult caregiver participation is required.For babies 0-18 months.
