The King Harbor Association is a proud sponsor of the 6th Annual Earth Day Chalk Art Challenge. This all-ages event is free and open to the public. Participants of all levels are invited to create a chalk art drawing to commemorate Earth Day. The first 100 children to sign-up on the day of the event will receive free chalk and a recycled and reusable canvas tote bag that they can custom paint with members of the Redondo Beach Arts Group. The King Harbor Association is committed to promoting Redondo Beach King Harbor through their generous financial and volunteer support of cultural events and community projects. The King Harbor Association is a volunteer organization comprised of local area business leaders who serve as representatives of the harbor business sector to build awareness of the harbor and impact the local community. The King Harbor Association sponsors several annual community events including the Redondo Beach Super Bowl 10K Costume Contest, 4th of July Fireworks, Lobster Festival, Holiday Boat Parade, and various community art projects like the Earth Day Chalk Art Challenge.
