Rejoice in Art! is an annual community fine art fair and exhibition held in Redondo Beach, Calif. to celebrate artists, share their work with the public, and support local service projects.

During the day Friday (Noon to 5 p.m.) and Saturday (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.), experience our beautiful fine art fair featuring more than 30 artists in tents and booths, inside and outside, selling their artwork in a family-friendly, fun atmosphere. The fair also features free art demonstrations, musical entertainment, purchasable food and refreshments, a homemade gifts/goods boutique, children’s art activities, opportunity drawings and more.

On Friday evening, from 5-7 p.m., celebrate and view more than 60 paintings on display at the public opening reception of “An Ocean View II,” an exclusive juried exhibition featuring seascapes and coastal scenes by California artists, with an emphasis on the South Bay/Palos Verdes area of Southern California.

Following the reception, stay for a free musical concert “Blue in Green: The Varying Colors of Jazz” beginning at 7 p.m.

TKG After-School: Theatre Arts @ St Andrews Church

On Purpose Productions! presents Theater Arts for After School  Discover new forms of self-expression, explore growth edges, build confidence, enhance listening and engaging skills, strengthen emotional connections, support the collective and further develop autonomy in this 11-week production class. The class will culminate in a professionally directed production for friends and family. In this 2-hour class: the first 30 minutes will be dedicated to warm-ups & skill building, followed by 80 minutes of rehearsal time (story & character analysis) and 10 minutes cool-down/community building. Autumn Fawn, who has been working with children as a theatre professional and coach for over 15 years, is the the Program Director/Instructor. The workshop meets every Thursday from 3pm to 5pm at TKG. In addition to the program fee of $325 there is a $100 performance fee (for venue rental, costumes, technical support). The fee can be waived if parents are actively involved behind the scenes. Sibling enrollment will be discounted 20% for a $260 enrollment fee. TKG TAAS: is a safe, fun, creative environment for children to learn performance and public speaking skills is a place to practice leadership develops confidence increases learning skills provokes improvisation thus flexible thinking fosters collaboration builds confidence & self-expression inspires creativity It is a fun environment of learning and performing, with a public performance for family and friends. There are many ways for parents to be involved too: – Children will be practicing a play with lines, so practice at home will be required- Costumes, props, stage management, make-up, technical resources & promotions are parent-supported Creating art through physical and emotional expression!
