The hit national play, “Expressing Motherhood” returns to The South Bay. “Expressing Motherhood” is an on-going play conceived by two moms during their kids’ naptime. The South Bay Community Concert Association (SBCCA) of Redondo Beach, Ca., an all-volunteer non-profit organization, sponsors five or six live concerts each year (September through April/May) featuring national and international attractions. The race, on a fast, flat, scenic course that winds along the Redondo Beach waterfront, is popular with runners and walkers from throughout the South Bay Beach Communities. In the past, participants ran as old as 85 years old. There will a 5K run and community walk, a costume contest, a two-day Health & Fitness Expo, and a post-race party. This event has over 1500 runner participants each year.
