Bluewater Grill Australia Wildfire Relief Effort @ Bluewater Grill

Bluewater Grill Redondo Beach is working to save Australia’s wildlife threatened by the devastating wildfires – and is asking its loyal customers to help.

For every Aussie-inspired Bluewater Burger sold through February 29, 2020, the company will donate $1 to the World Wildlife Fund Australian Wildlife and Nature Recovery Fund.

The effort is being organized in honor of Bluewater co-owner, co-founder Rick Staunton, a native of Sidney. Staunton opened the first Bluewater Grill with Jimmy (Jim-U) Ulcickas in Newport Beach in 1996, and the two have since built the company into one of the largest independent family of sustainable seafood restaurants in the West with 10 locations in California and Arizona.

A Bluewater menu staple since the beginning, the Aussie-inspired Bluewater Burger features a half-pound burger topped with crispy onions, wild arugula, heirloom tomato, a beet slice and fried egg.

This dynamic trio delivers show-stopping entertainment. Tatiana Tajci Cameron (Tajci is pronounced TAI-Chi) Tatiana “Tajci” Cameron is an award-winning music artist and former Eurovision Song Contest finalist who was a pop superstar by the time she was 19. A native of Croatia (formerly Yugoslavia), she achieved platinum status while selling more than a million records and packing sold-out venues for many of her performances. As a teen sensation and into her 20s, Tajci graced the covers of many magazines and other publications, and landed major endorsement deals with the likes of Levis. A Tajci doll, made in her likeness and emblematic of her enduring appeal, remains a treasured collectors item among her many devoted fans around the world. A graduate of American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Tajci has continued to perform, demonstrating her versatile musical ability through a variety of genres, to include pop, jazz, country and spiritual. Soon after getting married in 1999, Tajci, along with her husband Matthew, embarked on what turned into a 15-year tour of America, during which she performed more than 1,000 I Do Believe concerts (featured also on all major faith TV channels). Along the way she gave birth to three sons each of whom has ample experience in various arts, to include music while living, in succession, in Los Angeles, Cincinnati, and, most recently, Nashville. Tajci has performed big band and jazz concerts with pianist Dr. Stanley Yerlow, collaborated with Grammy Award-winning arranger and composer Jeff Steinberg, and played and recorded with jazz greats such as Steve Schmidt and Michael Alvey. In addition to singing, Tajci plays keyboards, guitar and accordion. This night proves to be a highly entertaining and uplifting event!

SoCal Whale Watching Kayak Tour @ Redondo Beach Marina

Each November the Pacific grey whales begin their southern migration from the arctic waters of the Bering Sea passing through Southern California on their way to the warm water lagoons of Baja returning north around March. While we can’t guarantee an encounter with a whale we will see other marine life such as sea lions bright orange garibaldi pelicans and dolphins in their natural environment. We’ll review basic paddle strokes and boat safety prior to paddling out on our 4-5 mile adventure. *Please note this environment may have rolling water which can lead to motion sickness. Must be 12 years of age or older and anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
