What are the age rules?All participants/attendees under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Children 10 and under are free. You must be age 18 and up to rent boards.What is the event schedule?Please visit website for Event Schedule. Event schedule is tentative and may fluctuate due to weather. We will advise all competitors by email the day before event!I have never tried SUP Yoga, is the Yoga Class for beginners?Yes, the world’s largest SUP yoga class is designed for beginners as well. Never tried, no problem, we will have teachers onsite who will give a complimentary training before the class.Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?Please bring your I.D. for registration onsite. It will be required for board rentals/demos as well.What is my parking options getting to the event?Parking is available at Seaside Lagoon. There is a $6.00 charge, cash only.What can/can’t I bring to the event?Please bring sunscreen, reusable water bottles, shade, beach chair, etc. Please do NOT bring: single-use plastic bottles or utensils (we’re a zero-waste event). NO DOGS ALLOWED in Seaside Lagoon (sorry!). Unless they are service dogs, you must have backup documents for your service dog. Is my registration/ticket transferrable?Yes, but only onsite at registration on the day of the event.Can I update my registration information?You can update your registration onsite starting at 7:30 am, or on Saturday, October 3rd at Whole Foods Redondo Beach from 9 am to 4 pm. You will be able to pick up your race packet and goodie bag as well.Can I rent a board? Yes!! We offer board rentals for $15 from a huge group of board companies that will be onsite. All you need to do is select the board rental during your registration process. And make sure to bring your driver’s license onsite, we will hold this while you use the board at the event. Want to rent a RACE BOARD because you are an experienced SUP Racer – contact: Olympus Board Shop Why don’t you offer Prone Paddle Races?Unfortunately, we are unable to get the permit to allow for prone paddlers in the marina, but we are working on it for next year.Will there be lifeguards and medical staff onsite?Yes, there are 3 lifeguards, coast guard in the Marina and on-site medical team for the festival.What are the courses for the SUP races?Below please find the course for both the 4.5-Mile & 2-Mile races. Race courses are tentative and may fluctuate due to weather. We will advise all competitors at the race meetings the day of the event. Great food and a jazz brunch
The 9th Annual International Summer Beauty (formerly Brazilian Summer Beauty Pageant), a charity event produced by RioBela Productions and its Board members, takes place on Saturday, September 17th, 2016 at Samba Brazilian Steakhouse in Redondo Beach from 8:00 pm to 1:00 am. The beauty pageant is the centerpiece of the event, but the evening is filled with live Brazilian music and dance groups, featuring some of the finest Brazilian musicians & dancers in the United States, an authentic Samba Show with beautiful Samba Dancers and Drummers, delicious Brazilian Churrasco dinner, celebrity judges and an after party with DJ. Funds raised by the Pageant will be donated directly to charity foundations, Guerreiros da Luz – World Peace Initiative and Global Girl Project. General Admission, VIP tables and Dinner/After party tickets are available on line. There will be a VIP red carpet walk with photos and interviews from 6:00 – 7:00. VIP dinner packages -seatings from 5:30 – 6:45. Show starts at 8:00 pm followed by afterparty until 1:00 am.
