Vacation Rental Hosts of Redondo Beach (Networking Event)

REDONDO BEACH MOVES TO SHUT DOWN ALL VACATION RENTALS . . . On Wednesday, March 2nd, the Redondo Beach City Council voted to keep vacation rentals outlawed and to step up enforcement. I’m organizing a networking event so Redondo Beach hosts can discuss how to work with the city council. Fair and smart regulation (instead of an all-out shut down) is possible, but we must organize. It is important that our voices are heard before further legislation is written. We have to be involved in the process. According to www.AirDna.co, there are 88 active ‘entire home’ listings on Airbnb and 88 active ‘private room’ listings on Airbnb. We need all 176 of us to be involved. NOTE: We also welcome vacation rental hosts from other cities that wish to support our efforts in Redondo Beach. WHY ATTEND? FEATURED SPEAKER: Robert StGenis, Director of the Los Angeles Short Term Rental Alliance, is going to give a quick overview of what regulations are being enacted in other cities and how we can best work with the city council in Redondo Beach. He will also be available to answer your questions. Robert is an expert on this topic and a wealth of information that I look forward to sharing with everyone in attendance.
